Choose from a fixed shower head, rain shower head. A shower kit, to give a hand held shower, or a combination of all three to create your own unique shower.

Fixed shower heads come in wall mounted versions and as a ceiling shower head to give a rain shower effect.

Shower kits usually come with a slide rail and can be used as a single funtion shower or can be combined with a fixed shower head connected to a diverter valve.

Select your perfect shower head combination, then choose a shower valve from our shower valves and perhaps a diverter and body jets to create your ultimate showering experience.

When ordering your shower valve and shower head, please ensure that they are compatible for your hot water system. Common systems are high pressure (eg combi boiler) and low pressure (eg gravity system). Although shower heads, kits, valves, and diverters from different manufacturers will work together, you should be aware that there may be slight differences in finish.

Depending on the type of shower that you wish to install, the shower head must either be fitted in order to prevent it coming into contact with the water in the bath below or the base tray, or it must have a check valve. It is advisable before starting, to mark the positions of the shower head and control, and to plan the pipework involved, also the drainage system to remove the waste water will need to be planned. Both positions of the cable route and the shower switch will also need to be considered if an instantaneous or electric shower is being installed.

Using the instruction guide that should have been provided, fit the shower control.

Before fitting the pipes that will eventually supply the water to the shower system, it is important to cut off the water supply. In order to protect the pipes, they should be given a waterproof covering and also isolating valves should be fitted. The pipes can then be recessed into the wall and plastered over to neaten the overall look.

Fit the base tray, shower head, and fittings.

Connect up the main shower control to the pipes that will be supplying the water. (This may require a female screw thread adapter).

Reconnect the water supply and test the pipes for any leaks, as some may need tightening.

If it is an electrical shower that is being installed, the electricity supply must be switched off, before making any electrical connections. The shower must be connected to a separate circuit breaker in the fuse box Once these connections have been made (there should be guidance within the instruction manual), the power supply can be switched back on. This work must be carried out by a qualified electrician

The shower should now be ready for the screens and cubicle tray to be fitted.
