Deliveries
We aim to deliver all of our orders within 5 to 14
working days except where stated on the product description. In reality, the
vast majority of our orders are despatched within 5 working days by 24 hour
courier. Larger items may be delivered by a local depot but in all cases we
will notify you of the expected delivery date. Occasionally, due to
circumstances beyond our control, there may be a delay on certain items. In this
case we would contact you to ask if you wish to wait for the item, or offer a
full refund. Please note that certain suppliers, especially Grohe, can take up
to 28 working days to delivery as most of there stock is held in Germany
RETURNS POLICY
We want our customers to be happy with their purchases. We expect all of our
products to be delivered in good condition and in good working order
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances this can not always be the
case, therefore we have a returns policy in place to cover these issues.
1) If your order is lost in transit we will contact the courier to ascertain
what has happened. If necessary we will despatch a replacement unit.
2) If your order is damaged please contact us within seven days of receipt
of the item to arrange the return of the item for examination. In cases of
damaged goods we will arrange delivery of a replacement unit or a full
refund. We will pay the return courier charge.
3) If you are unhappy with the product for aesthetic reasons please note
that the manufacturers will only accept returns on payment of a restocking
fee of 35% of the value of the order. Returns must be made within seven
days. The customer will be responsible for the safe return of the product.
4) We accept no responsibility once the units have been fitted. In this case
the item falls under the manufacturers guarantee and you should contact the
manufacturer to rectify the problem.
5) Although we provide a free delivery service to our customers, we do of
course pay for this service. We reserve the right to recover our delivery
costs in the case of any returns.
6) in all cases of return, please attach a label to the packaging bearing
our address. Please do not write directly onto the packaging as this will
make the item unsalable and no refund will be issued.
7) In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 consumers have
the right to cancel their order within a 7day 'Cooling off Period' following
the day of delivery. Cancellation must be done by emailing your request. If
returning goods under this regulation it will be your responsibility to
ensure that the goods are received by us in good condition.
www.showermania.co.uk suggests that insurance is taken out for the return of
such goods as any goods not received in a saleable condition in their
original undamaged packaging with security seals intact, will not receive a
refund. Please note that delivery of goods is deemed to be a separate
contract of services and is not covered by the cooling off period therefore
any refund for goods returned under this regulation will be less our costs
for delivering the order to you.
Obviously, written descriptions and graphic images can not always correctly
show the actual size and colours of some items. We highly recommend that
before purchasing anything from the internet, you view the product at a
bathroom showroom, plumbers merchants or similar.
Please bear in mind that manufacturers can impose high restocking charges
(typically 20% - 45%) on returned goods that are not actually damaged. We
have no choice but to pass these charges on to the customer.
